Let's get one thing straight right here and now: we don't like
Righteous Ron. He stumbled into our web site two years ago and we
gave him a job. Now we're stuck with him since we can't fire him
or he'll sue for religious discrimination.
Like it wasn't bad enough that he's been sticking his two cents into
our Ask PizzleWig columns, when he heard of the upcoming Comics section,
he immediately began work on his own horrible comic that continues in the
fine Christian tradition of forcing your opinions on everyone you possibly
can. The one thing that can be said about them is that his horrendous
artwork and even worse content make them a perfect fit for our site.
Mandatory "Cast of Characters" Like You Really Give
a Rat's Ass
Do-Gooder
Jerk
It's not always this silly looking goof, but every one of Ron's comics
features some "holier than thou" nutjob who just can't get enough of telling
everyone how they should act and think. We think it's supposed to
be a lesson about the right way to live, as long as you define "the right
way" as "blind acceptance of what you're told."
Horrible,
Evil Sinner
Again, not always this guy, but the comics invariably feature a person
who is behaving in some sort of terrible way and who obviously needs immediate
help. This "help" comes from the Do-Gooder Jerk, naturally.
Typically, it's a bad idea for the Sinner to disobey the instructions they're
given.
God
The omnipotent deity of the Christian religion plays a crucial role
in the comic, sitting back and pulling the strings to make everyone else
jump through hoops for his amusement. We also understand he makes
one hell of a green bean casserole.
Looks like fun, right? Wrong. But again, we're legally bound
to show this crap, and if these comics have taught us anything, it's to
more carefully screen who we let on staff. Enjoy!
